Caen : Lower Normandy’s largest industrial centre, with 57% of all manufacturing jobs in Calvados. Major groups include PSA, Renault Trucks and Robert Bosch.

Bayeux : the food industry is a major employer in this district, with well-known names such as Frial, Lactalis and Isigny-Ste-Mère.

Lisieux : the food industry is the county’s largest employer and 27% of its Calvados workforce is based here.
