Motor Industry

The motor industry is one of the traditional pillars of industry, but in Calvados, it has also proved to be one of the most innovative ones in recent years. Motor companies have gradually been stepping up the proportion of manufacturing carried out by parts suppliers, with an attendant rise in the number of subcontractors. This diversity of companies means that Calvados is a key player in Normandy’s motor industry.
